Gregory Mankiw

Gregory Nicholas Mankiw is a macro American economist of the Nouvelle economy keynésienne born the February 3rd 1958. He is currently professor of economy to the Université of Harvard where he teaches the macroeconomics.

He undertook his studies of economy to the Université of Princeton, where he makes a success of his candidatures in 1980 with the rank Summa cum laude . He flew away after with the Massachusetts Institute off Technology (MIT) where he took down his control in economy. He starts, after the MIT to be taught with the Université of Harvard since 1985 and becomes in the same University ordinary professor two years afterwards.

Its research relates to the adjustments of the Prix, on the Financial markets, the behavior of the consumers, while passing by the theories of the Economic growth and by the monetary policy and budgetary. He is the author of many works and articles.

Beyond teaching, it off directs the programme of cash economy of the National Office Economic Research and is to advise Federal fund of the United States of Boston and Congressional Budget Office.

He lives with Wellesley in the Massachusetts, with his Deborah wife and their three children Peter, Nicholas and Catherine.
