Gregg Popovich

Gregg Popovich (born the January 28th 1949 in East Chicago, Indiana) is a trainer of American Basket-ball.

After having been assistant of Larry Brown with the San Antonio Spurs, it is named trainer of Spurs during the season 1996-97. It leads Spurs to three championships in 1999, 2003 and 2005, thanks to its duet of interiors Tim Duncan and David Robinson.
In 2004, it again assists Larry Brown with the head of the American national selection at the time of OJ of Athens.
In 2005, it takes along the team of San Antonio and his trio Duncan - Ginobili - Parker until the Finales NBA to impose itself in seven sleeves vis-a-vis the Detroit Pistons of… Larry Brown.

In 2007, it again brings back the title to Texas after a victory of the Spurs vis-a-vis to the Cleveland Cavaliers of LeBron James at the time of a final in four handles (4-0).
