Greg Rusedski

Greg Rusedski , born the September 6th 1973 with Point-Claire, Quebec, Canada, is a player of Tennis. Athlete is of the Canadian, but so British nationality since his/her mother, Helen, were born in England. Rusedski carried the colors of Canada at its beginnings, before choosing to evolve/move, as from 1995, for the the United Kingdom.

Rusedski is a player considered for his play of attack and its very powerful service. It a long time held besides the record of the fastest service with 239,8 km/h before Andy Roddick does not increase this record to 250 km/h. With 685 aces in 1995, it was classified 5th in this chapter among the players of the circuit ATP.

Career

Before the ATP

Between 1985 and 1990, Greg Rusedski gained six titles juniors, at less than 14 years initially, then at less than 18 years.

On the circuit of the ATP

Arrived over the professional circuit at beginning of the year 90, Rusedski gained 15 tournaments ATP.
Its more great victory was probably with Paris-Bercy in 1998, when it finally beat Pete Sampras on the score of 6-4, 7-6, 6-3.

Greg Rusedski was qualified for the first time at Wimbledon in 1993. He was finalist with the US Open in 1997 (beaten by Australian the Patrick Rafter).
