Green paradise

Vert paradise is a film French of Emmanuel Bourdieu, left in 2003. It was ordered by Arte, which diffused it under a different title and an assembly, the Juniors by Gascogne .

Synopsis

Lucas is a young sociologist, who returns in his village of origin of Béarn to make a study on the country celibacy. It then finds, at the time of a ball, two friends of childhood. Isabelle lives Paris and married, Simon remained at the village to exploit with her mother the family farm. However they always like, and Lucas decides to bring them closer again, without realizing that it is of him that Isabelle falls in love.

For the context of film, Emmanuel Bourdieu took as a starting point his/her father, the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu, who had published an article in the years 1960 the Festival of the single people (included in the Ball of the single people. Crisis of the country company in Béarn appeared in 2002). The title of the telefilm returns as for him to the tragedy love of the Gascon hero of Edmond Rostand, Cyrano of Bergerac .
