Green library

The green Bibliothèque is a collection of books published by Hachette and intended for the children and préadolescents.

With its creation in 1924, it is conceived to republish the great classics of the literature of youth, in particular the authors of the funds Hetzel repurchased by Hachette and of which most known is Jules Verne.

It is starting from 1948 that innovations will appear of significant number in this collection which was regularly renovated until our days.

Today, it gathers many series intended for the children and préadolescents. It is thus complementary to pink Bibliothèque, intended for young people.
