The Great bulwark is largest international Nautical trade fair with flood, the first nautical trade fair with flood in Europe and the third nautical trade fair in the world.
This living room, which is with the navigation of pleasure what the Mondial of the car is with the car, is organized by the Association Great bulwark, created in 1973 on the initiative of Henri Amel, Michel Dufour, Fernand Herve and Roger Maillard, four local manufacturers. It is held each year end September on the Port of Tiny the of La Rochelle.
Each year, a country or a maritime area is invited of honor. In 2006, this title returned to the Guadeloupe, and in 2007 with the Croatia.
