Great Falls

Great Falls is a town of 56.690 inhabitants (2000), seat of the Comté of Cascade and located at the center-north of the Montana. The city is famous to have the shortest river of the world, the Rivière Roe . It was founded in 1883.

History

Founded under the name of Johnstown in 1883 by the contractor Josef Hanson and the tycoon of the railroads James J. Hill, Great Falls was upon the departure a planned city, built on a site which makes it possible to use the capacity Hydroélectrique water falls of the Missouri.

The city was famous Great Falls in 1884, the same year when she was recognized by the United States Postal Service. It quickly became an industrial center and, in the Années 1900, had left well to become the community of the the fastest Montana to develop. When it was turned over to him, Mr. Mariana affirmed that the soldiers had removed part of the video. This one remains nevertheless one of the strongest evidence supporting the existence of the UFO ever filmed. Since this event, more than 100 others UFO would have been located in the city, which does of it one of the most active places of the North America in this field.
