Great Buddha of Leshan

Set up in VIIIe century, this cut statue with hillside, which dominates the confluence of three rivers of its 71 m in height, is the largest statue of Bouddha of the world.

It is with side of the Mont Emei, in the Sichuan, in China.

It was classified in 1996 on the Liste of the world heritage by UNESCO.
