Gray Fiord

Grise Fiord (literally admission of Norwegian pig in ) is the name d´une community Inuit E located on the southern point of d´ Île of Ellesmere, with the Nunavut, only 720 Miles of the Arctic Cercle.

Grise Fiord was the human community most septentrional of the Canada jusqu´à l´établissement of the permanent base d´ Alert.

Its population is of 163 people, according to the census of 2005. The local climate is extremely cold, with a recorded minimum of -62.2 C. and a maximum of 22.3 C.
