Gray Falcon
The gray Faucon ( Falco hypoleucos ) is a predatory bird Australian very badly known. There remain about 1.000 couples about it.
Description
It measures 30 to 45 cm length, 85 to 95 cm of scale and weighs 350 to 600 G. It is of gray color on the back, white on the belly. The end of the wings is darker. The legs are yellow.
Distribution and habitat
One finds it in the dry areas of the center of Australia. He lives the not very wooded areas or the meadows.
Food
He nourishes mainly Oiseau X, especially of Perruche S but also small Mammifère S, Reptile S and Insecte S.
Reproduction
It niche in the trees, adapting the nests of other species. Brooded are from 2 to 3 eggs.
