Definition
The gray is not a color but a value of luminous intensity (quantity of light emitted by a source of light) of which perception by the human eye is between the Blanc and the Noir.Dans the system RVB coded on 8 bits per channel, there exist 256 possible levels of gray, the values of red, Vert and Bleu in front of being in similar proportions.
La value RVB (0,0,0) being perfect black, value RVB (255,255,255) being the perfect white.
Symbolism
- In the Western symbolism, the gray is associated with: the depression, the sadness, the Turkey, the Loneliness, the Distress.
