Gratitude (psychoanalysis)
The gratitude is a concept of psychoanalysis of Melanie Klein based on that of the desire. (see Desire (psychoanalysis))
Gratitude is opposed emulously as a need and expresses on the contrary a feeling of satisfaction towards the object, which makes it possible the child to perceive the well , i.e. to distinguish what is good for him.
This gratitude felt towards the primary education Objet builds the capacities of the child to like and create love affairs. If the desire (under heard good center ) is too intense, the feeling of total gratitude is impossible, which is normal, necessary and driving in the construction of the child.
