Many a Oiseaux is granivores, in particular:

• of the domestic birds (canaries, parrots) to which one gives mixtures of seeds (millet of the bird-catchers, sunflower etc)
• or birds of breeding (hens, ducks) to which one gives cereals (corn, corn).

This mode granivore of the birds requires adaptations of the organization: strong nozzle and one gizzard making it possible to crush seeds, this one is very thick and powerful. It is not rare to find stones in the gizzards, these stones are named gastrolithes and help with the crushing of food.
