Grands Boulevards (subway of Paris)
Grands Boulevards is a station of the lines 8 and 9 of the Métro of Paris, in limit of the 2 {{E}} and 9 {{E}} districts of Paris.
The station
Called in the past “Montmartre”, then “street Montmartre”, this station was thus re-elected at the summer 1998 within the framework of a total refitting of the Grands Boulevards of Paris.
Although named according to a street perpendicular to the main road like many Parisian stations, the name " Montmartre" caused mislayings daily, especially tourists who believed themselves close to the Hillock.
