Grand Prix of the free South

The Grand Prix of the free Midi is an old test cyclist. The free South was removed in 2003 fault of means. This test proceeded before the Critérium of Dauphine released in preparation with the Tour de France cyclist. The free South was a test of medium mountains to make it possible the runner to carefully prepare for the turn of France. In 2004, there was an attempt at rehabilitation under the name of Tour of Languedoc-Roussillon, but it was again removed by fault of means.

The largest cyclists gained this test like Raphaël Géminiani, Luis Ocana, Eddy Merckx, Raymond Poulidor, Jean-Rene Bernaudeau, Miguel Indurain, Laurent Jalabert or Lance Armstrong.
