Grand Prix of the Nations
The Grand Prix of the Nations was a test cyclist French against-the-watch which proceeded once per annum of 1932 to 2004.
The test proceeds on a distance of approximately 70 kilometers nowadays. In years 1970,80 and 90, the distance was of approximately 90 kilometers. The first 25 years, it was even of 140 kilometers. The highest average of the test was carried out by Lance Armstrong in 2000: 49,404km/h.
The test is organized for the last time in 2004 and disappears with creation from UCI ProTour in 2005. Since 2006, the Chrono of the Herbaria was renamed “stopwatch of the Nations” in reference to the old “Grand Prix of the Nations”.
