Grand Prix of Frankfurt
The Grand Prix of Frankfurt (" Rund um den Henninger Turm") cyclist created in 1962 by the director of a beer mark is a German race: Henninger. It is held in the area of Frankfurt, the departure and the finishing line being located on Darmstädter Landstraße beside the Henninger tower; an enormous silo pertaining to the Henninger brewery. The layout of the race takes complicated roads in the mountains Taunus from the west of the city posting uneven of almost 1500m with passages to 26%. The race ends in 3 turns of circuit of approximately 4.5km in the streets of Frankfurt. Classified of 1HC category since 2005, it belongs to the European continental Circuit.
This traditional was registered with the calendar of the World cup 1995.
