The Grand Prix motor bike of France Alice 2007 is the fifth go of the season 2007 Championnat of the world speed motor bike. It was held on the Circuit Bugatti with the Mans from May 18th to 20th 2007.

Summary

The American Colin Edwards who produced the best stopwatch during the tests hurls in pole position. However, upon the departure the pilots must compose with the rain which makes fall successively Carlos Checa, Sylvain Guintoli, Toni Elias and the leader of the race after 8 turns Randy de Puniet. Because of the wet weather conditions, the pilots change machine in the stands thanks to a new regulation authorizing these changes to them when the rain comes to disturb the race. The fight between the pilots benefits Australian the Chris Vermeulen which takes the head as of the 11th turn. Pressed during some turns by Casey Stoner, Daniel Pedrosa and Marco Melandri, Vermeulen manages to widen the gap on its prosecutors while the Italian Valentino Rossi has problems with his Yamaha. With three towers of the end, the American Nicky Hayden falls severely whereas it was in fourth position. In front of the race, the variations are stabilized: Melandri (second), Stoner (third) and Pedrosa (fourth) ensure their position in end of the road behind Vermeulen which gains finally the race.

The Australian pilot thus gains its first Grand Prix at 24 years. Its best performance was until there a second place obtained the former season in Australia.
