Common mechanisms
Two sights at least are sélectionnables by the player, the first is the subjective Vision, which shows only the minimum of the instrument panel (speedometer, number of remaining revolutions,…), the second is a Vision cinema where the car is seen of behind. There exists in certain episodes, of the sight intermediaries. When a player starts again a circuit alone (without opponents), it can see its phantom Voiture.
At the beginning of left, the player must pass a Permis to lead. He directs cars lent for the occasion and must traverse portions of circuits or circuits complete in a limited time. If it arrives there, it obtains its license. Thanks to this one like with a modest sum, it can buy a car " bottom-of-the-range " and to begin championships where it earns money if it arrives in the first places. This money enables him to improve its car and/or to buy others of them. Thereafter, it can pass from others made it possible more difficult to arrive to levels of competition more élevés.
However, for the series Concept like for Gran Turismo 4 Prolog , the championships are not present and one cannot buy vehicles, it should simply be gained by gaining licenses.
These plays of race proposes circuits very faithful to reality. The jouability and the physical models of the cars are them also very realistic. A point on which Gran Turismo are not coherent, is the invulnerability of the cars. The famous manufacturers lending their mark to the play (like Mitsubishi or Audi) did not want that their cars are destructible.
