Graham Joyce is a British writer , author of Fantastique and Fantasy.

Biography

Raised in a mining village close to Coventry, Graham Joyce obtains a diploma for the occupation of teacher with Derby, then a control of modern letters and American Littérature at the university of Leicester where it meets his future wife, Suzanne.

It had already started to write, but it is in Greece where they had left to live (on the island of Lesbos and in Crete) which it writes its first novel published, Dreamside . A voyage to Jerusalem inspires the novel Requiem to him.

Its fantastic inspired and subtle does one of the most appreciated English authors of it kind. Three of its novels were prizes winner of the Prix British Fantasy. The Facts off Life received the World Fantasy Award, and “the Nights of Leningrad”, gained the Grand Prix of Imaginary the 2003, " category; News étrangère". The majority of its novels are translated into several languages.

While continuing its work of writer, he teaches the writing at the university of Nottingham the Trent.
