Graduation (album)

Graduation is the name of the third album of Kanye West. The coming out date envisaged is the September 11th 2007. This opus is thus the third of the rappor of the label Rock-HAVE-Cracked, the latest to date being very acclaimed Late Registration , left in 2005.

Exit of the album

The coming out date of September 11th caused a controversy. Indeed, it is this same day as the rappor of New York 50 Hundred will leave its third album Curtis. 50 hundreds first of all required of Kanye West to push back the coming out date of its album. Kanye refused asserting that will make it possible to the fans to have more choice. " If the Kanye West on September 11th sold more albums than me, I stopped the musique" (50 Hundreds). 50 hundreds reconsidered its remarks later.

Contents of the album

Graduation is shorter than the two preceding albums of Kanye West, it contains only 13 pieces. Only Lil Wayne is invited to grate whereas on The College Dropout and Late Registration several rappeurs were present. T-Bread, Mos Def, Chris Martin and Dwele contributes to the refrains and the sung parts of Graduation. DJ First ensures the scratches on the title " Everything I Am".

Three individual results from this album. First is " Edge Such Me Nothing" by-product with Dj Toomp. Second is " Stronger" by-product with the group Daft Punk of which their title " Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" is samplé. This individual was success and in particular reached the first place of the charts in the United Kingdom. The third individual one is " Good Life" where Kanye West collaborated with T-Bread.
