Graduate School
A graduate school (in literal French: " school for the gradués" ; according to the large Québécois terminological dictionary: " Direction of high the études") indicate in the United States a component of a Université dealing with the administration of the studies intended for already graduate students, having generally obtained a Bachelor 'S dismantles (baccalaureat) after at least 4 years of higher learning. This second academic cycle is called graduate studies , in literal French " studies for the gradués" or " studies for diplômés".
A graduate school corresponds in France to the service of the 3rd cycle or to a doctoral school (including the management of the DEA or m2). Two types of ranks can be prepared, ranks by teaching ( taught dismantles ) (ex: Master off Science, MSc (12 months), Diploma or Certificate (9 or 6 months), comprising the follow-up of course and the drafting of a report) or ranks by research (ex: Master off Philosophy, MPhi; Doctor off Philosophy, PhD).
Graduate school , or graduate studies , is opposed to the cycle Undergraduate .
