Grace Kelly
Grace Patricia Kelly (November 12th 1929 - September 14th 1982), become Princess Grace of Monaco , was a American Actrice of Irish origin. She married the prince Rainier III of Monaco the April 19th 1956 and was first American to go up on a throne.
Youth
Born with Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, the United States, it is the girl of the “kings of brick” of Philadelphia, emigrating Irish and Catholique S. His/her grandfather built family fortune, thus carrying out the “American Rêve”. His/her father, John B. Kelly, Sr., had gained an Olympic gold medal in 1920. His/her mother was of Prussian origin. The brother of Grace, John junior, became mayor of Philadelphia.
Actress
Educated with the convent of the ladies of the Assumption of Philadelphia, she wishes to become actress at 17 years, in spite of the opposition of her family. She poses for Coca-Cola and Colgate in order to pay her courses of dramatic art to New York. Grace Kelly became mannequin of mode and appeared in its first film in 1951, Fourteen Hours at 22 years. The following year, it obtains the first role in the train will whistle three times , a western with Gary Cooper.
In 1953, it plays in Mogambo , a drama in love whose action proceeds in the jungle Kenya. Giving the counterpart to Clark Gable and Ava Gardner, it is put in nomination for the Oscar of the female best supporting role. Princess of Monaco
She wishes to marry the count Oleg Cassini, the dressmaker of Jackie Kennedy, but this one being older than she and several times divorced, the parents of Grace oppose this union.The prince Rainier of Monaco returns visit as a neighbor to the turning of the Hand to the collet of Alfred Hitchcock which is held with Monte Carlo. On the instigation of Paris Match, they meet for a photo session with the princely palate. By the means of the Tucker father, Irish of Philadelphia, confessor of the prince, Rainier is invited for the festivals of end of the year in the Kelly family. The Grace princess is buried in the Abside of the Cathédrale of Monaco, at Monaco-City.
The princess, in addition to her generosity with regard to was disinherited and of the artists as it (it helped Joséphine Baker and its burial with Monaco offered to him), a lady of a rare distinction and a very great elegance. Its death deeply marked its contemporaries.
According to Guy Mouyrin, being presented in the form of a former driver of Joseph Di Mambro, Grace Kelly would have been member of the Ordre of the solar temple and would have been assassinated, an assertion which holds of the rumor.
In July 2007 the principality has emitted a Pièce commemorative of 2 euros to celebrate the 25e birthday of its death.

The principality of Monaco strikes its first 2€ commemorative in memory of very regretted Princesse Grace of Monaco, for the 25° birthday of its tragedy disappearance. Struck by the Currency of Paris, this 2€ is emitted with only 20.000 specimens and left on July 12th, 2007. It is weakest pulling for a commemorative coin of 2€ to date.
