Grégory Wimbée

Grégory Wimbée is a Football or French born the August 19th 1971 with Essey-the-Nancy. It is originating in Dombasle-on-Meurthe. It evolves/moves at the station of goalkeeper.

Formed with INF Clairefontaine, it joined the training center of the ACE Nancy-Lorraine, in 1990, before being lent to Charleville, in 1993 and 1994, and finding the ASNL in 1994. It is one of the principal craftsmen of the increase of Lorraine in D1. Indeed Nancy is crowned better defense of D2, in 1996, with 23 goals boxed in 42 meetings.

At the time of the increase of LOSC in League 1, Vahid Halilhodžić prefers to him Teddy Richert, new guard lent by Bordeaux. For as much, the serious wound of Richert at the time of the first day of championship 2000-2001, will enable him to find the goals of LOSC as a holder. November 28th, 1996, at the time of the 20th day of the championship of France of Division 1, Nancy is led 1 to 0 (by the RC Lens) on its lawn at a few seconds of the end of the match. Nancy then obtains an ultimate corner and Wimbée deserted then its penalty area to register right foot this goal historical. A big first in French football. Obviously, all the TVS tore off the head of the hero.
