Grégory Lemarchal

Grégory Lemarchal (born Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal on May 13rd, 1983 with the Mug, dead on April 30th, 2007 with Suresnes of the continuations of a Mucoviscidose) is a Chanteur French known to have gained the edition 2004 of the emission of popular Télévision Star Academy . Its Tessiture was of 4 octaves.

Biography

At the twenty month age, whereas his/her parents worry about the difficulties of breathing of their boy, a Mucoviscidose is diagnosed to him, which will not prevent it from embracing an artistic career thereafter. In 1995, Grégory Lemarchal is champion of lifting France of Rock whereas it is only 12 years old.

In 1998, it takes part in the emission Graines of star , without success, but it acquires a certain notoriety with Grenoble and its surroundings, which enables him to contribute to the spectacles with artists of re-elected like Herve Vilard and Gilbert Montagné.

The 22 December 2004, it gains the fourth season of the Star Academy, an emission of the French chain TF1, with 80% of the votes of the public vis-a-vis Lucie Bernardoni. It records then its album I become me , carried out by Yvan Cassar, and of which is extracted the song Écris the history . The song I become me is a adapted Reprise again, the German original is Liebe STI ales by Rosenstolz, left in 2004.

Grégory Lemarchal is amateur of singers with voice, among which Québécois Céline Dion and Isabelle Boulay, but also of French singers like Serge LAMA and Charles Aznavour. He also worked with Patrick Fiori and other great names of the French song. He often went in the hospitals, accompanied inter alia Liane Foly, godmother of an association.

About February 2007, it announces a pause in its career, ensuring however which it was not related at all to its health but that it wished to devote entirely to its second album. Beginning April, it interprets Vivo per lei in Duo with Helene Ségara at the time of the first date of round of the singer. Its state degrades some time afterwards and he is hospitalized urgently in April at the hospital of Suresnes in waiting of a Clerc's Office of the lungs. He is placed in an artificial coma, with his agreement and that of its family, to relieve it while waiting for a Clerc's Office which will unfortunately not arrive… It dies Monday April 30th 2007 towards 13:00 following the complications of its Mucoviscidose.

Its funerals took place in the Cathedral of Chambéry the May 3rd 2007. It rests with the cemetery of Sonnaz (Savoy).

An emission having for title “ Grégory: the voice of an angel ” was diffused on TF1 the evening of May 4th, with an aim of collecting funds to fight the Mucoviscidose . A call to the gifts at summer launched during this emission which with license to collect more than 6 million Euro S of promises of donations on behalf of the televiewers, the advertizing revenues garnered by this evening remaining for the benefit of TF1. This emission with carried out 47,3% of shares of audience, is one of the best performances of the chain in the month of May 2007

The 7 June 2007, the association Grégory Lemarchal is declared by its family with an aim of overcoming the Mucoviscidose.

Association Grégory Lemarchal

The association Grégory Lemarchal is a Association, declared the June 7th 2007, which was created with an aim of overcoming the Mucoviscidose.

Following the death of Grégory, which has occurred the April 30th 2007 of the continuations of the Mucoviscidose, his/her parents, Laurence and Pierre, and his/her Leslie sister, decided that its artistic success and its combat against the disease must make it possible to support the awakening of the public about this one and to better fight in the interest of the patients touched by it.

Association Grégory Lemarchal has many activities, of which assistance and assistance of the patients touched by the Mucoviscidose and their families, by all actions tending to improve their comfort and their quality of life.

In November of the same year, his/her Leslie sister, published My brother the artist (editions Michel Lafon), collection of photographs of which the royalties are transferred to association Grégory Lemarchal.
