Gozo (in Maltese Għawdex ) is the name of the second island (by surface) of the Archipel Maltese. The island of Gozo is located at 4 km in the North-West of the island of Malta.
Gozo represents 67 km ² of surface, is the equivalent of the island of Hong-Kong. The island gathers 30 000 inhabitants, of which 6 000 in the capital Reduction (also known under the name of Victoria).
In 2006, two stray S was voluntarily run on the southern part of the island: the Comino Land and the Karwela . These two boats rest between 23 and 39 m basic and enter a development project of the Tourisme of plunged.
A legend says that it is in Gozo that the nymph Calypso kept captive Ulysses during seven years.
With the number of its tourist attractions, the island counts two temples located at Ggantija.
