Government of the Democratic republic of Congo
The Government of the Democratic republic of Congo is resulting from the free elections and democratic which engage the country in the Third republic.
The government has a Prime Minister who assumes the role of the head of government in the person of Antoine named Gizenga (PALU). The President of the Republic has the role of Head of the State, it is elected by the vote for all.
Current government
The President of the Republic named the Government directed by Antoine Gizenga by the Ordinance n°07/001 (Democratic republic of Congo)|schedule n° 07/001]] February 5th 2007. The Government was refitted on November 25th, 2007.The first Government counted 60 ministers and vice-ministers, including 9 women.

- Confrontations between police force and demonstrators of the sect Bundu dia Kongo, after the election of the Governor of the Low-Congo. An assessment gives a report of several deaths and wounded within the civilians, the soldiers and the police force;
- formation of the Gizenga Government;
- Certains reports/ratios gives a report on the occupation of the territory of Kahemba (Kwango/Bandundu) by the Angolan army.

22 March 23rd, 2007: Confrontations between the close guard of Senator Jean-Pierre BEMBA GOMBO and the Armed forces of the Democratic republic of Congo (FARDC).

- Jean-Pierre Bemba goes to the Portugal with the authorization of the Senate for medical care;
- May 2007:
- the Government decides to measures of disarmament and repatriation of Mbororo in the Eastern Province.
