July 4th: Fall of the Gouvernement Henri Queuille (2).
July 12th: Beginning of the government Rene Pleven (1) president of the Council.
October 19th: Pierre Mendès France critical the French policy in Indo-China.
November 30th: The law fixes at 18 months the duration of the military service and makes precede the call under the flags by examinations of preselection, famous “the 3 days”.
