This article introduces to the composition of the Gouvernement of the France under the Prime Minister Pierre Messmer of the July 6th 1972 to the April 5th 1973. It is about the first government of Pierre Mesmer.

March 16th, 1973 are announced the resignations of Rene Pleven and Maurice Schumann the Prime Minister Mr. Pierre Messmer is named Minister for justice by interim and André Bettencourt is named Foreign Minister by interim.
