Governed Blachère

Régis Blachère , born on June 30th, 1900 and deceased on August 7th, 1973 is a Orientaliste French.

Member of the Institute (1972), director of studies at the Institute of the high Moroccan studies of Reduction (1930-1935), Arabic professor to the National school of the Eastern languages (1935-1950), Arab professor of literature of the Middle Ages to the Sorbonne (1950-1970), director of studies to the École practices high studies (1950-1968), director of the Institute of Islamic studies of the university of Paris (1956-1965), director of the Arab Center of lexicography, associated with C.N.R.S. (1962-1971).

One owes him a “critical” translation of the Coran and a test of reclassification of the Sourate S years the chronological order of their revelation.
