Gouin Leon-draper
honourable the Leon-Draper Gouin B.A., LL.D., C.R. (1891 in Montreal - 1983) was a Juriste, a Professor and a Canadian Politician .
His/her father is Lomer Gouin, Prime Minister for Quebec. Brother of the liberal Paul Gouin, it studies with the Collège Loyola and the Collège Sainte-Marie of Montreal and marries the actress Yvette Olivier in 1917.
After studies with the University of Oxford and the University Queen' S, it receives its legal license in 1915, then takes part in the foundation of HEC Montreal with Jean Désy, Victor Doré and Edouard Montpetit.
Receipt doctor in right in 1920, it teaches until in 1927, then gives up its station before passing for the Université of Ottawa. At the time, he plays a intellectual part of foreground.
Appointed vice-senior of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal in 1949, it in addition occupied the senatorial division of Salaberry during 36 years, of 1940 with 1976. Member of the Bar of Quebec, it is named professor emeritus at the University of Montreal in 1965.
He dies in 1983.
