Goudes
Goudes is a district of the 8 {{E}} district of Marseilles, very snuffed of the Marseillais for his authentic framework and its small traditional port. The group Massilia Sound System devoted a piece to Goudes in its album " Oai and Libertat" in 2007.
Joined in Goudes, one finds the solid mass of Marseilleveyre. Paul Mariéton reports in a work which the archeologist Mr. Gilles advanced that this place was called Marseilho-Veïre what, always according to Gilles, would mean the Vieux Marseilles and not " to see Marseille". This assertion remains unfounded today. In addition research on Marseilleveyre often caused debate on the origins of Marseilles.
