- an archeological site was excavated on the territory of the commune of 1981 to 2001. This site is composed of important a necropolis and a habitat of time mérovingienne and more precisely of the VI - VIIe centuries. In all, 458 tombs were excavated. The results of these excavations are exposed to the Museum of Cruel Times with Marle. Beside the Museum, a farm mérovingienne was reconstituted according to the excavations carried out in Goudelancourt and according to the principles of the principles of the experimental Archéologie.
