Gotska Sandön
Gotska Sandön is an island in the Comté of Gotland (Sweden). Located in the the Baltic, to 38 km in the north of the island of Gotland (or, to be more exact, to 38 km in the north of Fårö, another island right in the north of the coast gotlandaise), it is the island most isolated from Sweden.
8 km length. 5 km broad. 3601 ha, of which 2.460 are covered with forests.

Gotska Sandön is a national park and the island is inhabited only by the supervising personnel of the significant medium and the Phare and by personnel related to tourism. The tourist visits are limited.
Connected in summer by regular boats bound for Nynäshamn (Swedish dry land) and in Fårö.
