Gotan Project

Gotan Project (Gotan = Tango in Verlan) is a group of Electronic music mixing Tango and Electronic music.

Composed of French Philippe Cohen Solal (Servant boys from Brazil), of Switzerland Christop H. Müller (former member of the group Touch El Arab), and of the Argentinian guitarist Eduardo Makaroff, the group publishes in 2001 its first album Revancha LED tango which will have an immediate planetary success.

In 2004, they accompany Brigitte Fontaine on a music by Astor Piazzola which gives its name to the disc of the Queen of Kékés: Street Saint-Louis in the island .

In May 2006, they leave their second album, Lunático . The name of this album comes from the name of the Racehorse of Carlos Gardel. This is why the graphic universe of this album is that of the Hippodrome of Buenos Aires.

Gotan Project started a world tour at the beginning of the summer 2006. After concerts with the Olympia in Paris, the Opera of Vienna and the Hollywood Bowl of Los Angeles, the round is prolonged until the end of the summer 2007.
