Gorki park

The Central Park of Culture and Relaxation is a Amusement park of Moscow. It is more known under the name of Parc Gorki , of the name of the Russian writer Maxime Gorki.

The Gorki Park was open in 1928 and is located at Krimski Val. It was created by the stepping of the gardens of the old Golitsine hospital and those of the Neskoutchni Palate and represents a surface of 1,2 km ², along the Moskova.

The park comprises adventure playgrounds for the children, of the horse-gears, a Grande gigantic wheel and one of the models (units of test) of the vessel Bourane in order to make take part the children in the " experiment cosmique".

During the Hiver, the alleys recover water and freeze, which allows to people to patinate around the park.

The subway station nearest is Park Koultoury.

the park is known in occident as the title of a Romance of Martin Cruz Smith, which was adapted to the cinema.
the famous group of German metal Scorpions off had a great success with its individual Wind changes , which refers to the Gorki Park, in the light of the changes socio-policies of the era post- Cold war into Europe of the East in the beginning of the Années 1990.
a group of rock' roll Russian door also the name of the park.
