Gordon Ross
Gordon Ross , born the March 8th 1978 with Edinburgh (Scotland), is a player of Rugby to XV which plays with the team of Scotland like half of opening.
Gordon Ross represented Edinburgh and the Scottish schools in less than 16 and less than 18… It was selected in the teams of young people of Scotland in less than 19 and 21 years. The blow of glare of its young career was the victorious goal for Edinburgh against Olympic Biarritz in 1997 and the victory against England as a player of less than 19 and this, the same year. These brilliances results made him sign a professional contract at Edinburgh Reivers. On its return of round, this summer 2002, it joined Leeds Tykes, leaving Edinburgh Reivers.
Its international appearances are short and episodical even if it counts 18 selections. It was seldom titular. The résulats of Scotland were not brilliant between 2000 and 2005. And the holder of the station of number 10, was Gregor Townsend. He took part in the World cup of Rugby 2003, was wounded, and missed the beginning of the season 2003-2004. Then, in 2004-2005, Matt Williams drew aside Gregor Townsend and it chooses daN Parks for leader of the back lines.
