Gordon E. Moore

Gordon Earl Moore , born on January 3rd, 1929 with San Francisco is a doctor in Chimie and a American Head of undertaking . He is the cofounder with Robert Noyce and Andrew Grove of the company Intel in 1968 (world manufacturer n°1 of Microprocesseur S). He is known to have stated the Loi of Moore in 1965.

Biography

He is born on January 3rd, 1929 with San Francisco in California.

He is graduate of a Bachelor off Science in Chimie of the the University of California to Berkeley in 1950 then of a Doctorat in Chimie and Physique of the California Institute off Technology in 1954.

He marries Betty, coed met at the university.

He joined William Shockley (one of his/her comrades of university, Nobel Prize for the invention of the Transistor) at the laboratory Shockley Semiconductor Laboratory of the company Beckman Instruments, then leaves it to found the company Fairchild Semiconductor with seven called collaborators of its ex-employer the 8 traitors with the the United States: itself, Robert Noyce, Sheldon Roberts, Eugene Kleiner, Victor Grinich, Julius Blank, Jean Hoerni and Jay Last.

In 1958, Robert Noyce becomes the most eminent figure of all the Silicon Valley by inventing the integrated circuits in Silicium which revolutionized the electronic modern and the Silicon Valley.
