Goodeniaceae

The family of the Goodeniaceae is a family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands approximately 400 species divided into 11 kinds:
- Anthotium, Coopernookia, Dampiera, Diaspasis, Goodenia, Leschenaultia, Pentaptilon, Scaevola, Selliera, Velleia, Verreauxia .
They are herbaceous plants, shrubs or some trees, annual or perennial, sometimes with photosynthetic function provided by the stems, of the moderate areas of the southern hemisphere to the tropical areas.
The phylogenetic classification adds with this family the Brunoniacées (the kind Brunonia ).
