Good of Berry

Good of Berry , born in 1365, died in Carlat the December 30th 1435, girl of Jean de France duke of Berry and Jeanne of Armagnac. She has the same first name as her grandmother, Bonne of Luxembourg, sister of the Emperor Charles IV & girl of Jean of Bohemia, known as the Blind man.
She marries in first weddings with Paris the June 18th 1377 with Amédée VII, count de Savoie (1360 † 1391) and will have:
- Amédée VIII (1383 † 1439), count de Good Savoie
- (1388 † 1432), married in 1403 with Louis of Savoy (1364 † 1418), lord of Piedmont
- Jeanne (1396 † 1460), married in 1411 with Jean-Jacques Paleologist (1395 † 1445), marquis de Montferrat, of a branch junior by the house Paleologist, family of Byzantine emperors.
She entered in conflict with Bonne of Bourbon for obtaining regency for Amédée VIII. The Savoy was divided into two parts on this occasion, the solution came from the Three-States which will allot regency to Bonne of Bourbon which is however the grandmother of the young count. Good of Berry must then exile itself.
Widow, she remarie with Mehun-on-Yèvre towards 1393 with Bernard VII of Armagnac (1363 † 1418), count d' Armagnac, and a:

- Marie, born in 1397, dead Good young person
- (1399 † 1415), married in 1410 with Charles (1394 † 1465), duke of Orleans
- Bernard (1400 † 1462), count de Pardiac and of Walk by marriage
- Anne, born in 1402, married in 1417 with Charles II, lord d' Albret (1407 † 1471)
- Jeanne, born in 1403, dead young person.
- Béatrix, born in 1406, dead young person.
