Golden delicious Centers

Golden Centers - 战斧 with the Japan - is a Video game of the type Beat them all developed and published by Sega in 1989 on Borne of arcade, Megadrive and Master System. The play was then related to various Micro-ordinateur S and Game console.

Scenario

The tyrant Death Adder removed king de Yuria and his daughter. Three heroes, decided to be avenged for Death Adder, leave to its research.

Gameplay

It is possible to choose between three characters:
  • Ax Battler : a warrior armed with a sword with two hands, controlling the magic of the ground,
  • Tyris Flare: the Amazon equipped with a sword, controlling the magic of fire,
  • Gilius Thunderhead: a dwarf handling an axe, controlling the magic of the lightning.
The progression is done from left to right, the players having to cut through a path among the henchmen of Death Adder. It is possible to seize 2 types of imaginary mountings (dragons or the " legs of poulets") what overlaps certain enemies, those being able to carry out attacks more powerful than the normal blows. Each character can also use a fate able to strike all the enemies present at the screen. For that, it is necessary to collect in the course of part of the flasks of magic potion of which the number influences the power of the fate.
  • Tyris Flare has more levels of magic than these two accolytes, it can recover eight levels of magic potion. Most powerful makes leave a dragon, it is the most powerful fate of the play.

The original version on Borne of arcade left in June 1989. It functions on Sega System 16. ; Bearings the version Master System does not make it possible to play two players simultaneously. Only the warrior is sélectionnable. ; Remakes
  • PlayStation 2 (2003, Sega Old 2500 vol. 5: Golden delicious Centers - a remake in 3D which did not convince. It only left to Japan in this form (in compilation in 2005 in Sega Classics Collection for the United States and, 2006, Europe).
