Gold knights

the Gold Knights (黄金聖闘士 Gold Saints) are the most powerful guards of Athéna. The armours correspond to the 12 constellations of the Zodiac which are crossed by the sun. These knights, who are highest in the hierarchy, are charged to ensure the protection of the staircase giving access the room Grand Pope and the sanctuary in which Athéna is supposed to be. It sometimes also sometimes happens to them all over the world to carry out special missions on order of Large Pope when simple a Chevalier of Bronze or Money is not enough. It is also among the Gold Knights that the successor of Large Pope is selected.

18th century
