Goiana
Goiana is a Ville Brésil ienne of the State of Pernambouc (area of the Nordeste) to 100 km in the north of Recife. It is built on a fertile Plaine located between the Rivière S Tracunhaém and Capibaribe Mirim close to their confluence where they form the Rivière Goiana. It constitutes the shopping mall of one of the richest agricultural districts which produces Sucre, Rhum, Café, Tabac, Coton and Castor oil.
The city, one of oldest of Pernambouc, was occupied by the Netherlands of 1636 with 1654.
