The Goethe-Preis ( Price Goethe ) is a prestigious cultural reward German decreed by the town of Francfort-sur-le-Main since 1927. Since 1952, the price is distributed only every three years. The price is decreed the August 28th, date of the birthday of Goethe.

The price is equipped with 50000 euros.
