The Gods of the Stage are a series of calendars published in years 2000 of erotic photographs artistic of the members of the French Stade, a club of French Rugby. With the passing of years, the calendar accommodated various guests of other clubs of Rugby, as well as athletes of other sports. The artistic quality of the photographs as well as the erotic installations made of this calendar a success as well near the women as of the gay community of the whole world.

If the first calendar were published in 2001, it is not that in 2004 qu' it off took its take-off with the international level thanks to the exit in DVD of sound making. The making off of calendars 2004,2005,2006 and 2007 left all in DVD (see external bonds).

Part of the benefit of the sales is transferred at charity associations.

According to max Guazzini, President of the French Stage, each player touches €5 000 to pose for a photograph.

The growing success of the calendar went from pair with the rise of a certain polemic as for the very erotic character of photographs. The exit in September 2006 of the calendar gone back to 2007 was crowned success, since more than 200.000 specimens of the calendar were sold. But the too dared character of certain stereotypes seemed to divert part of the customers only come by attraction for Rugby.

In reaction, the calendar gone back to 2008, should be wiser and more consensual.
