Geography
History
Goderville appears in 875, on a charter of the king Charles the Bald person, concerning the enumeration of the goods belonging to the chapter of Rouen. The borough owes its name with the family Godard de Vaulx, of the Latin villa and a local name, first lords of the stronghold until in 1492, date on which they are combined by marriage in Roussel. A letter patent of March 1651 sets up Goderville in baronnie. Until the Revolution, the territory is a sergentery. The market exists since the 16th century, for the flax in particular.
Goderville absorbs Crétot in 1825.
