God and my right
God and my right is the currency of the British Monarchie, since the time of Henri V (1413, 1422).
This currency is in French because it was the language of the sovereigns of the kingdom since William the Conqueror besides (the words and expressions of French origin and Normand E find much in the English language ). Henri V spoke French and English, and yet the use of English by the elite took again his rise during its reign.
Certain currencies of orders of knighthood English is also in French, it is for example the case of the Honni is which badly thinks of it for the Order of the Garter.
The Beatles took as a starting point the currency God and my right to create the expression: Duit one My Die (" C it one Monday") - make it Monday , also title of an album of Harry Nilsson.
