Synopsis

Incipient baldness, Albert doubts his capacity of seduction. It also doubts its own feelings like direction to take, attitude to be adopted, speech to hold… Bref, Albert doubts all and hesitates permanently.

Its indecision takes it along on a chaotic way, full with turnings and ubuesques situations letting providence alone decide on its fate.

  • God alone sees me is the second shutter of a trilogy on Versailles, from which the first, Versailles bank-left, in scene the same anti-hero puts, giving one evening, in prey with an organisational panic before the arrival of its guests.
  • As in each one of its films, Bruno Podalydès slips of the references to Tintin. In this one, the hero takes along a friend in a restaurant syldave and restores a box of the Sceptre of Ottokar : the waiter with the waistcoat with squares listening with the door.
