God Only Knows

God Only Knows is a song of the Beach Boys published in the origin on the album Pet Sounds published at EMI in 1966. It is composed and produced by Brian Wilson and Terry Asher wrote the words of them. It was recorded in March 1966 with the musicians of Phil Spector including/understanding the bass player Carol Kaye, the beater Hal Blaine and the guitarist Ray Pohlman. God Only Knows was Reprise again, in the Eighties, by David Bowie, on the Tonight album (in 1984). David Bowie inverted the order of the verses. Claudine Longet also carried out a Reprise again of this famous song of Beach Boys, just as the quartet pop-jazz " Manhattan Transfer "
