Gobert Grand Prix

The Grand Prix Gobert is a Prix of the French Academy annual. It is given in the field of the Histoire since 1834.
It was instituted by the Foundation created following the succession of the baron Napoleon Gobert (1807-1833), wire of the General Nicolas Gobert, and is intended to reward “the most eloquent piece of French history, or that whose merit will approach some more”.
